Ouija
SHR Justamere Ouija CC
Black Lab with top show bloodlines
Ouija (pronounced WeeGee) is our fourth generation of combining strong retrieving desire with good structure and breed type. Her mom, Lily, gave her many of the traits we desire. Her dad, Icon, gave her gorgeous breed type.
Ouija at 7 weeks.
Notes on her structure included:
- thick coat,
- pretty face with dark eyes, good skull width, good bite,
- good angles and upper arm,
- nice turn of stifle and thigh width,
- good depth thru chest and loin.
Retrieving came naturally to her.
We threw a bumper when she was 7 weeks old. She ran out, picked it up, and brought it back like she’d been doing it for years.
She was never force-fetched. Didn’t need it. Retrieved on land or in the water. Picked up bumpers or birds. She was on it!

Rest now, my pretty girl.
I hold it true, whate’er befall;
I feel it, when I sorrow most;
‘Tis better to have loved and lost
Than never to have loved at all.
~Alfred, Lord Tennyson
